Tom Waits

Really starting to get into and appreciate Tom Waits. His music is so off the wall and creative. This morning I woke up with "Union Square" stuck in my head--he's a musical genius! I don't really know much about him cuz I'm just starting to really get into his stuff, but when I looked him up online I found a cool description of his voice. Critic Daniel Durchholz described Waits' voice as sounding "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car". How cool is that????? You must check out his album "Rain Dogs", that's the one I'm loving right now. Can't wait to explore more!
