Each Time I Try To See, Each Time I Try To Breathe, All These Memories...Come Back To Me...

felt a bit compelled to post this yesterday after having watched the news for a bit. originally co-wrote this with my classmate sean killary in reaction to 9-11. it makes me incredibly sad that it still seems timely today. hopefully some day it will just be peace that just exists. i guess you can say i'm a dreamer... ;)

Madysin Hatter LIVE! at Bar East!

Madysin Hatter does Career Day!

The morning of my gig at Bar East, I participated in Pleasantdale Elementary School's Career Day in West Orange, New Jersey. I was actually more nervous at how the kids would respond to what I had prepared to talk to them about "the life of a musician" (so to speak) than I was about my show in the city later that evening.
It turned out to be one of the most awesome and fulfilling things I've done in a while. The kids inspired me so much! Was so excited to hear that they love keeping journals and they were showing me song lyrics they had written. A couple of them even got up in front of the classroom and sang for me!
It was a great morning and I am definitely looking forward to the next one!

Motley Crue at the Hollywood Bowl

Madysin just got wind that Motley Crue will be returning to the Hollywood Bowl this June, along with Poison and the New York Dolls. Gonna be a sick show! Here's a picture taken from the front row, taken by Madysin Hatter herself, the last time she saw Motley Crue play the Bowl. Always awesome..
