May Motivation Playlist

I really can't believe it's already almost May. April flllllew!! Anyways, I always view May as a very motivational time: the snow is for sure behind us, the plants and trees are blooming, and sunny skies are ahead. Last night was a great time for me in the studio. New song coming sooooon, just gotta put some finishing touches on it. It's a fun bluesy number. Trying to get my mind off some tough decisions I have to make, I thought it'd be fun to review some past performances of mine to see what's postable. Is it me or is it really hard to watch yourself perform?? I think it's good to watch though, you learn a lot of stuff that you can apply to your next one. And I'm reeeeally looking forward to my next performance ;)

Frustration

Dear Universe,

Hi. A couple months ago our bassist quit. Every day since, I have been hoping in the back of my mind that I would randomly run into this amazing bassist who was looking to join a band. Hasn't happened yet. I have asked everyone I know if they know anyone who plays the bass and is looking to join a band. Nope. I have posted an ad on craigslist calling all bassists in the area who are looking to join a band. Nada. Please, please, PLEASE Universe.
